Annette Funicello, an American singer and actor. She was most well-known as one of Mickey Mouse Club's "Mouseketeers". As a teenager and began singing, her career in music started. Her popularity grew due to songs such as 'Tall Paul' and "Pineapple Princess. Annette was an introverted child born in Utica in the company of Italian immigrants. As she wished to have a successful career in entertainment her first step was acting as well as dancing. In the mid-1950s, she received a lot of attention for her appearances on "Disney" sketch shows. Annette's "Disney" persona was discarded after she turned an adult and began playing adult roles. Most famous for her role as the actor who introduced the "beach-party" category. The films she appeared in included 'Pajama Party', 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini", and "Beach Party'. She also continued to release her music albums from time to time. Annette has been diagnosed as having multiple sclerosis in 1992 and passed away from the disease in 2013.
