Akerman became famous in her character of Laurie Jolie/Silk Spectre I on Watchmen. Akerman also played the role on the Lara Axelrod notorious television series Billions. The show is noteworthy because she appeared in naked scenes of the film Guardians as well as Deplorability Youthster. Akerman started her career modeling before moving into acting. She has appeared in many TV and film productions. Her notable roles include Silk Spectre II, in the remake of Watchmen for film and Lara Axelrod, in the TV show Billions.
